I am an experienced relationship and client account manager who has worked in a range of capacities, and since 2019 I have had the opportunity to work in an area that I am passionate about, which is Equality, Diversity and Inclusion. I currently work for an LGBTQ+ Charity organisation supporting Public and Third Sector organisations on improving their LGBTQ+ inclusion practices, and my main area of focus has been with local counsels, housing associations, universities and healthcare bodies. Since 2021 I have been leading on the healthcare portfolio and have begun a health and social care degree in order to support my abilities to better understand how to positively impact EDI within these areas. EDI is a line of work that I plan to make a career out of and am so passionate to see positive change for all who experience marginalisation and systemic discrimination. I am now looking for an opportunity to enter into an EDI role within an organisation, and take on a role that allows me to tackle inequalities across all protected characters, beyond just focusing on gender identity and sexual orientation.
