I am currently working for a Global Consultancy as the Regional HR Director EMEA and the Global Inclusion Lead. What I do best is to improve employee engagement through building a diverse and inclusive culture. During the four years that I have developed and then led the implementation of the global strategy and plan, I have developed and implemented unconscious bias training which is linked to the company strategy; revised the internal Diversity Policy to address inclusion; introduced a global Advisory Group and Employee Resource Groups, reviewed the employee lifecycle, adapting the talent acquisition process to highlight and remove bias, which was then supported by training for the global HR and recruitment teams. The internal talent development and succession planning processes has been reviewed and amended to ensure that it meets the company's diversity and inclusion requirements ensuring that we have local talent in the pipeline and that this reflects the demographics of the locations in which the company operates. I have recently developed a Women in Leadership programme for internal talent to address some of the key issues arising from the Company's Gender Pay Gap Report which I have drafted for the last two years. I have also introduced both global and local initiatives to build awareness and educate employees of diversity related issues such as a month long disability observance focused on profiling disabled employees and how the organisation has assisted them to enable to fulfil their job roles as part of an inclusive culture.
