The University is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, highly capable, self-motivated Equality & Diversity Data Officer.  You will demonstrate a keen interest in the area of equality and diversity and assist with the applications for Athena Swan awards and other Charters at Aston University.  

You will support the creation of centralised, consolidated management data for the University relevant to equality and diversity monitoring, and will also be expected to work with confidential HR and student data

The role requires previous experience in a data/information related role with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data to provide statistical analysis which can be presented clearly to support decision making.  You will also have proven administration experience alongside good written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to organise and effectively prioritise work, and be able to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.  

You will also demonstrate a creativity for turning data into meaningful and informative information that is relevant to the target audience.
