Group Equality, Diversity & Inclusion lead
Remote Working - Head Office based in Manchester
£45,000 - £50,000 - Permanent - 2 year contract

Protocol are proud to be working alongside an integrated education and skills group, with regards to the recruitment of Group Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Lead, on a fixed term contract of 2 years.

Role responsibilities
* To lead the development and implementation of solutions to complex equality and diversity challenges within the framework of relevant legislation and to ensure the provision of a high standard of advice
* To be responsible for the ongoing development of a group-wide Strategic Equality and Diversity plan and to embed it into Group and business unit department plans
* To develop and execute culture change programmes that achieve sustainable results through high levels of colleague involvement and engagement. A natural change driver with lots of practical experience in leading complex change projects
* To analyse data and produce regular E&D reports, statistical monitoring and progress against KPI\'s targets and action plans.
* Identifying external trends and recognising best practice which will increase diversity among the workforce.
* To ensure that the Executive Team are regularly advised of progress against plans and to recommend actions as required.
* To develop the knowledge, skills and understanding of all colleagues on equality and diversity, from challenging and influencing change in attitude and behaviours to promoting equality of opportunity and diversity and addressing institutional discrimination.

Essential
* Evidence of implementing equality, diversity and inclusion within a large organisation.
* Overseeing the implementation strategic plans.
* Making change happen by negotiating and implementing new policy/initiatives with a range of stakeholders, including those over whom they have no authority.
* Experience of the production of strategy/policy documents.
* Project management in the area of equality, diversity and inclusion
* Experience of working with sector-relevant local and national networks
