Role: Head of EDI Delivery (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion)

Contract Length: 6 months

Location: Remote

Salary: £650day (umbrella)

As Head of EDI Delivery, you will:

• implement solutions based on commercial knowledge, business processes and customer requirements.
• influence stakeholders to achieve results in a Matrix management environment.
• partner with and deliver through EDI Champions and EDI Employee Networks.
• communicate, influence and deliver results demonstrating compliance to the Equality Act's Public Sector Equality Duty.
• set strategic direction across multiple organisations, spanning (but not limited to) the disability, gender and race agendas using key opportunities to reflect current UK communities

Experience We are looking for you to demonstrate the following:

• Substantial management experience, ideally in an operational or EDI environment.
• A track record of setting high standards and goals to deliver results at pace in a complex and demanding environment across multiple business units.
• Experience of supporting organisations to deliver the organisation's strategic commitments through strong relationship and networking approaches.
• Experience of implementing solutions based on commercial knowledge, business processes and customer requirements.
• A proven track record of having facilitated, negotiated and influenced stakeholders to achieve results in a Matrix management environment. This should include a demonstration of how you have explained and presented sound and well-reasoned arguments to senior stakeholders.
• Proven experience of delivering through leading a team or a Matrix project team, whilst developing colleagues using inclusive leadership and addressing unconscious bias.
• Proven experience of specifically partnering with and delivering through EDI Champions and EDI Employee Networks.
• Experience of communicating, influencing and delivering results demonstrating compliance to the Equality Act's Public Sector Equality Duty.
• The acumen to set strategic direction across multiple organisations, spanning (but not limited to) the disability, gender and race agendas using key opportunities to reflect current UK communities.
• Willingness to embrace creative, agile and simple ways of working, making a difference to the ever-changing needs of colleagues, customers and the business
