Customer Service Transport Coordinator

Our client manufactures, distributes, sells and markets some of the world's strongest brands in non-alcoholic beverages. It is a leading Western European marketer, distributor, and producer of bottles and can non-alcoholic refreshment.

We are looking for a Customer Service Transport coordinator who is looking to develop in the next step of their career by building and managing relationships with suppliers.

Do you have experience managing service performance?
Do you have similar experience in a field sales or account management role?
Do you have experience in a customer delivery environment?

The below responsibilities include but are not limited to;

The use of Excel creating pivot tables from a set of data, sorting data, inserting formulas and using VLOOKUP
Preparing of reports
Building relationships with the customer service team
Relationship building with third party hauliers
Ensure all deliveries are booked
Plan and coordinate all bookings
Monitoring of key performance indicators (KPIs)

This is an autonomous role where it is important for the successful candidate to be self motivated and take responsibility for making decisions and provide solutions to any potential challenges that may arise.
Working in a fast paced environment, it is essential for some geographical knowledge of the area.
Desirable experience: * Previous Logistics experience an advantage * Good knowledge of Excel especially pivot tables and V-lookups This position is working Monday to Friday 8am-5pm 40 hours per week. There is some flexibility to potentially work 8.30am-5.30pm or 9am-6pm.
The role is based at our client's offices in Nottingham where parking is available.
Due to the current COVID climate at this stage some remote working from home might be necessary and full equipment will be provided.

This is an ongoing temporary role for up to 6 months.
