The Role

We are currently recruiting for a confident, enthusiastic and target-driven individual, who has excellent sales skills to join a new area of the business.

You will be responsible for recruiting traineeship starts in line with monthly targets and identifying and co-ordinating work placements with the business development & sales team for opportunities for progression into employment, apprenticeship or further education.

You will be required to build and maintain excellent relationships with a wide range of referral agencies to recruit learners on to traineeship programmes through open days or direct referrals. This is a remote role however you will be covering the midlands region

Skills & Experience:

  • Have experience in the delivery of apprenticeships, with an excellent understanding of apprenticeship standards, and up to date knowledge about the apprenticeship levy
  • Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Significant and proven learner engagement & sales background, with a history of meeting and exceeding high value targets
  • Knowledge and experience of learner engagement through traineeship/apprenticeship sector and the wider education and training market. IT & Digital knowledge would be highly valued
  • Experience of effectively planning and tracking a sales process to achieve commercial success
  • A proven background in generating new referral partners and learner leads via a variety of proactive, innovative methods inclusive of cold calling, networking and leveraging and extending existing networks
  • Ideally have experience of working with a wide range referral agencies such as the jobcentre
  • An enthusiastic, highly motivated self-starter with the highest levels of integrity and honesty
  • Be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of programs
  • Hold a Maths and English GCSE at Grade C or above, or hold a relevant alternative qualification
