Specialist, Diversity and Inclusion
Description
This role is responsible for creating a consistent and robust operating model for the Diversity and Inclusion Employee Networks. This role will influence both internal and external key stakeholders.

Strategy

* Is responsible for the development and successful implementation of a consistent and robust operating model that will align all ERGs across the Group to the Global diversity and inclusion strategy and maximise connectivity and value from existing funding allocation.
* will work closely with Centres of Excellence, country HR partners, Employee Network Groups (ERGs) and Country D&I Councils to create alignment.
* Review and develop standardised governance tools for ERGs
* Partner with Global ERGs to recognise key international dates and events to maximise impact
* Coordinate with Global ERGs on development of toolkits for country ERGs
* Develop and manage the annual ERG budget process, including bi-annual review
* Develop, implement and monitor global reporting on key ERG metrics
* Partner with Sustainability team to leverage upon Community Engagement opportunities with country ERGs
* In addition, the role will support the Head of D&I in implementing key initiatives based on the Group D&I strategy and priorities.

* Ensure that D&I activities aligns with business objectives and drives team performance and risk management at all levels.
* Drive awareness of D&I and its value and coordinate across the Bank focusing on supporting key stakeholders.
Processes

* Ensure the D&I brand is represented throughout all ERG events

People and Talent

* Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.
* Work with the business to help deliver the Banks Global D&I strategy and key priorities.

Risk Management
* Awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them.
* The ability to interpret the Group\'s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.

Governance
* Responsible for delivering \'effective governance\' and \'project management\'; capability to challenge key stakeholders effectively; and willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
* Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group\'s Values and Code of Conduct.
* Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
* Assist the Group D&I functions to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank\'s Conduct Principles: [Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment.]*
* Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
