Our client is an award winning not-for-profit organisation passionate about housing and supporting people to settle at home, live well and realise their potential. A Sunday Times Best 100 Not for Profit organisation to work for and IiP Gold standard, they are a forward thinking, innovative and ambitious organisation. They currently own and manage over 6000 properties, support over 1600 vulnerable customers in care and supported housing projects and employ nearly 500 people.

In this key role your main responsibility is to work on their Co:Create project; a Department of Health funded initiative to involve people who access health and care services in their design, delivery, evaluation and governance. You will be part of the Co-design and Improvement team, a team of 13 people delivering innovation and improvement within the business and throughout the Sheffield City Region. This is a fixed term role (2 years, dependent on recurrent funding each year).

You will lead on equality and diversity for Co:Create, ensuring that people from different backgrounds are involved in the project. You will particularly focus on working with people from under represented groups such as people from BME backgrounds and people with disabilities.

The successful candidate will have an innovative approach to new ideas and continual learning as well as good knowledge of learning and development needs for volunteers. Skills and experience in delivering exciting and innovative learning opportunities along with commitment to ongoing professional development is essential. A passionate approach to equality and diversity and interest in the development of others is strongly required. A comprehensive understanding of The Equality Act is also crucial for this role. In addition, strong administrative skills and the ability to use Microsoft Office applications is also needed.
