Global Diversity Manager

Contract: Permanent Full-Time

Salary: £Competitive

Office Location: Flexible/agile (this role can be based out of any of our UK Offices - London, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Newcastle, Bristol, Leeds, Preston or Milton Keynes)

Do you have proven experience in driving culture change and leading inclusion and diversity to build momentum and get results?

If so, we are seeking a Diversity and Inclusion Manager to join our Corporate Social Responsibility and Engagement Team and help drive our ambition to create and maintain a more visibly diverse and inclusive business.

This highly visible role, both internally and externally, will deliver interventions and successfully embed them; inspiring our people and encouraging a mind-set that understands the business benefits of creating and maintaining a diverse and inclusive culture in line with our strategic objectives.

  • Champion our new global diversity & inclusion strategy across DWF - building awareness, understanding and capability to realise the benefits of a diverse workforce and inclusive culture
  • Aligned to our global strategy, create, implement and evaluate diversity and inclusion activities across DWF locations, including global participation in our annual Diversity Week
  • Work directly with DWF\'s Partner led Diversity Steering Group to help them develop their diversity Action Plans in support of our agreed diversity objectives
  • Maintain our Benchmarking and Awards submissions, identifying new opportunities to introduce best practice as well as increase our profile in the marketplace
  • Introduce and embed external best practice by building and sustaining relationships with key employment campaigns/networks and organisations
  • Work closely with DWF\'s Community & Charitable Foundation Manager, to align our D&I ambitions with our community investment priorities - providing direction and support to our location based CSR Groups, where appropriate

  • You won\'t shy away from challenges and display sound judgement and a \"can-do\" attitude but be confident enough to say \"no\", when faced with competing priorities or activity that ultimately will not advance the D&I agenda

  • You\'ll be proud of what you do and the programmes/activities you create and execute

  • You\'ll be able to translate strategy into tangible actions that make it real and relevant to your audience

  • You will be able to disrupt to progress by championing new ideas or ways of doing things and challenge the norm, always aim higher to add value to the business, attend to details to get things done and keep all promises to maintain credibility and support

  • You\'ll know how to project manage, analyse and collate data and deliver against agreed goals

  • You will be an advocate of \"being better together\" working with teams as well as individually to advance the inclusion agenda

  • You\'ll understand the challenges of working in a time poor business and be able to design and flex D&I interventions accordingly to help build credibility and impact

  • You\'ll be comfortable operating in a fast paced, ever changing environment, working with people at all different levels across different jurisdictions

  • You\'ll be flexible in the way you work and pragmatic in determining priorities

  • You\'ll be inquisitive about learning and committed to staying technically competent to protect our business
