We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced and motivated Coordinator to support the College's Assistant Provost (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion).

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will coordinate the planning and delivery of Imperial College’s application for the Race Equality Charter (REC) award and assist with implementation of the action plan that will follow a successful application. You will work closely with the Athena SWAN Coordinator and senior staff across the organisation to ensure that the REC requirements are embedded in the College's policies and communications.

This career opportunity promises to be rewarding and will utilise to the maximum your experience gained in roles such as an HR Assistant, HR Administrator, Diversity Coordinator, Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator, or similar.

Essential Requirements:

In order to hit the ground running, you will have:

  • Previous administrative experience within an HR environment.
  • An understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion legislation.
  • Basic computer literacy and experience of working with databases and analysing data.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with staff at all levels.
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • The ability to handle highly confidential information with tact and discretion.

Further Information:

This fixed term two year, part time (0.5 FTE) post is a new position.
