Diversity Manager
Description

An exciting opportunity for a Diversity Manager to join a very successful business in Hertfordshire.

Working with the wider learning & development team, this role will manage the development and implementation of Diversity & Inclusion related projects across the business.

In detail:

  • Strategically drive and lead D&I programmes UK wide and across the group.
  • Develop Group D&I Policies.
  • Provide guidance and partner with HR Business Partners to support D&I initiatives.
  • Be the key point of contact, reference and SME for D&I for Senior Management.
  • Actively participate in and maintain relationships with strategic external organisations and networks to identify, develop opportunities and advocate D&I.
  • Oversee a range of diversity benchmarks.
  • Develop concepts for diversity events and campaigns as well as oversee execution of these campaigns and events.
  • Work closely with the L&D team to develop and embed training across the group and develop D&I cultural and behaviour frameworks.
  • Liaise with recruitment to strengthen diversity focus.
  • Lead the creation of the Annual D&I Review.
  • Monitor and evaluate all D&I initiatives.
  • Work closely with the communications team to gain appropriate coverage of our commitment to Inclusion & Diversity, support the production of press releases, pitches and internal communications relating to D&I.

The ideal candidate:

  • Track record of operating at a senior level with experience of creating and delivering strategies, programmes or campaigns from scratch
  • We are seeking someone who actually understands inclusion, fairness and equality - not purely diversity
  • Forward thinking and driven to find innovative new ways of doing things with a focus on results with a 'can-do' approach.
  • Excellent strategic-thinking, management and evaluation skills
  • High work standards, accuracy and great prioritisation skills.
  • Collaborative and comfortable working with different groups, teams and individuals as well as excellent communicator at all levels.
  • A highly credible individual who has great influence with excellent relationship building and facilitation skills.
  • Flexible and pragmatic style - a person who has a growth mind set and can hold their opinion lightly.
