Project Manager for Diversity & Inclusion


Brook Street is currently working on behalf of our Global IT Client to recruit a Diversity and Inclusion Manager. This is a contract role until June 2018 in Reading.

Role Purpose

We are looking for a smart, talented, passionate Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Project Manager to work with our leadership and Human Resources teams on maximizing the impact of global diversity and inclusion to empower our people, transform our culture and delight our customers.

The role involves a large degree of programme management and engagement with managers, leaders and senior stakeholders. There is a requirement to be able to work at scale and think broadly around this agenda for the entire UK, whilst having the passion and commitment for D&I. The ability to think and work at a tactical/execution level and help the transformation of D&I agenda at scale is equally important.


* Clearly articulate the company's D&I agenda.
* Partner with Global and UK D&I teams to develop or implement programs that integrate diversity and promote inclusion
* Partner with communications team to showcase and proactively promote UK MS diversity efforts across and outside business.
* Drive the delivery of, and project manage, the initiatives underlying the UK business D&I plan
* Contribute to delivery of D&I learning by supporting cross team priorities and coordinating resources
* Drive and implement appropriate measurements and dashboards to deliver against agreed results as determined by the cabinet.
* Develop, maintain appropriate communication channels for delivery of D&I updates, news, information to managers and employees
* Represent business externally when required, speak at D&I events on companies diversity philosophy and activities
* Support and lead a number of key initiatives to support the continued transformation of our culture


* This position requires strong knowledge, experience and track record in the following areas:
* Strong oral and written communication skills, with equally strong presentation skills
* Excellent project management, presentation and stakeholder management skills
* Demonstrated ability to work across organizational boundaries and cross teams
* Attention to detail
* Teamwork
* Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote
* Some understanding of Microsoft products and solutions

This role can be full time or can be done over 4 days - there is flexibility.

Salary: up to £40,000 (based on working 37.5 hours over 5 days)
