That\'s where you come in. We\'re looking for someone to join our team as a Diversity and Inclusion Manager. This is a new role for us so you\'ll be able to make the role your own. While we\'ve started to get diversity and inclusion on the agenda for discussion, we want someone who can help us build momentum and get results.

We can\'t promise that the role won\'t come without its challenges so we\'ll need you to be passionate about diversity and inclusion. We\'ll be here to support you so don\'t worry, you won\'t be on your own. And we\'d probably also expect you to draw support from the network of contacts you\'ve established too, as we\'re open to new ideas and ways of thinking. Role Responsibility
  • Strategically drive, lead, monitor and evaluate diversity and inclusion programmes UK wide and across the group
  • Develop group diversity and inclusion policies
  • Provide guidance and partner with HR Business Partners to promote diversity and inclusion in the specific business areas they support
  • Be the key point of contact and subject matter expert for everything relating to diversity and inclusion
  • Actively participate in, and maintain relationships with, strategic external organisations and networks to identify and develop opportunities to bring thinking into Computacenter and to help us advocate diversity and inclusion across the organisation
  • Oversee a range of diversity and inclusion benchmarks
  • Develop concepts for diversity and inclusion events and campaigns as well as overseeing their successful implementation and delivery
  • Work closely with our L&D Team to develop and embed learning across the group and to develop diversity and inclusion cultural/behaviour frameworks
  • Liaise with Talent Acquisition Teams to strengthen our diversity focus in our recruitment and selection processes
  • Lead the creation of an Annual Diversity and Inclusion Review
  • Actively drive and participate in the People Panel; helping them to shape their thinking and to support them in gaining and maintaining momentum within the organisation
  • Work closely with our Communications Team to gain appropriate coverage of our commitment to diversity and inclusion, support the production of press releases, pitches, social media messaging and internal communication

The Ideal Candidate
  • You\'ll be able to come up with creative ideas on how we can communicate diversity and inclusion both internally and externally, the programmes we can run and how we drive people across the organisation to understand the benefits of a diverse and inclusion workplace
  • You\'ll be great at engaging stakeholders across the business, at all levels as you\'ll be passionate about the work you do and how we can make a difference at Computacenter
  • You\'ll have a track record of creating and delivering strategies, programmes or campaigns from scratch through to successfully implementing them and seeing results
  • You\'ll understand inclusion, fairness and equality - not purely diversity
  • You\'ll be forward thinking and driven to find innovative new ways of doing things with a focus on results with a \'can-do\' approach.
  • You\'ll be able to understand the big picture approach but also know the detail we need to work through to achieve that
  • You\'ll be able to prioritise the things you need to focus on and you\'ll want to work hard at achieving them as you take pride in what you do
  • You won\'t be phased by working with different people, in different roles, at different levels and across different countries; whether that\'s on a group, team or individual basis
  • You\'ll be able to adapt the way you communicate and collaborate with people; using a variety of communication tools and techniques
  • You\'ll be someone who can build your credibility easily through the relationships you build with people and the influence you can bring to different situations as people will see you as the expert
  • You\'ll be able to work in a flexible and pragmatic way
