Diversity and Inclusion Advisor
We are looking to recruit an experienced Diversity and Inclusion Advisor ona 6 month contractto join the small dedicated team at Sodexo, the role involves providing Diversity and Inclusion advice to a range of stakeholders with the purpose of achieving our Diversity & Inclusion Strategy. The role is flexible on where it's based however you will need to be in London for at least two days a week. Main responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for translating the overall Diversity and Inclusion strategy into medium term plans for the workstream you support and for working with the Head of D&I, Exec Sponsors and Workstream leaders to agree and implement those plans. You will be responsible for driving D&I communications across the workstreams designed to raise awareness and continue to build our brand as an employer of choice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate in this area, and looking to take on an autonomous role where they can implement a strategy to drive forward change. Ideal candidate Degree educated or equivalentExperience in a Diversity and Inclusion role with a clear understanding of its impact in the workplaceAbility to work on own initiative to generate ideasExperience of influencing various stakeholders and managing multiple projects.Demonstrable examples of translating 'D&I best practice' into workable organisational approaches through stakeholder influencingExperience of delivering initiatives and activities through volunteers and champions.A keen interest and commitment to the broad Diversity & Inclusion agenda.Strong Communication skills including the ability to communicate and build relationships with multiple stakeholders at different levels.Effective at using word/excel/PowerPoint and outlook to analyse, communicate and present key information from a number of sources and produce engaging and informative communications.Sound knowledge of the Equality Act 2010
