The Opportunity:

As the Senior Manager of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I), you will lead DE&I across EMEA and APAC. You will integrate with the business to drive DE&I best practices across the regions. You will partner with cross-functionally to infuse new insights into our DE&I strategy. You will report directly to eBay's Global Head of DE&I and have connectivity to regional leadership. You will also help grow and support the regional Communities of Inclusion in partnership with the COI Program Manager.

The Role:

Strategic Partnership and Thought Leadership -

  • Partner with executives and regional leaders to develop DE&I strategic business plans, guide the operations vital to deliver, and evaluate the impact to provide insights for continuous evolution of strategy.
  • Propose and/or develop cutting-edge DE&I programming for multiple audiences across the regions.

People Team and Business Advisory Services -

  • Serve as 'on the ground' adviser to regional business unit leaders and People Business Partners (PBPs).
  • Serve as an advocate, mentor and resource for concerns and issues related to DE&I.

Industry Intelligence and Relationship Management -

  • Use industry and academic insights to remain at the forefront of emerging trends and solutions.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with regional partners who help progress our DE&I agenda.

Project Management -

  • Lead all aspects of and (in some cases) own the delivery of programs and initiatives across the regions in partnership with DE&I Program Manager and COI Program Manager.
  • Supervise progress, metrics and proactively provide updates for all initiatives.
  • Passion for eBay's purpose driven nature.
  • Proven leader, thought partner, collaborator, and change agent with a bias towards action while also demonstrating outstanding interpersonal and communication skills across an organisation.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and being a self-starter.
  • Command of the latest DE&I concepts, challenges, and opportunities with proven success in implementing DE&I best practices.
  • Solid attention to details with the ability to traverse macro and micro details seamlessly.
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and constant change.
  • Ability to use good judgement to overcome challenges, guide decisions, and involve vital individuals at the appropriate time.
  • At least 6 years of experience in scoping, designing, and implementing DE&I programs in sophisticated, fast-paced and global organisations.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (graduate degree is desirable).
