Lead Specialist Advisor-Equality, Diversity and Inclusion

Description:

Our client based in Cardiff is looking for an experienced Lead Specialist Advisor to support the development of their Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) action plan.
This is a temporary assignment until March 2021.
Working with Executive Directors, Leadership Team and Management Teams on a practical working relationship to continuously improve People Management practices within the EDI sphere.
The successful candidate will be CIPD qualified (Level 7:Advanced) with extensive knowledge of EDI.
Extensive knowledge and experience of people management legislation and best practice is essential together with previous experience of delivering a corporate strategy to external customers.
Key Accountabilities:
* Act as the lead, expert specialist and ambassador
* Actively contribute, promote and lead on EDI
* Proactively develop working relationships that build trust and empower manager to use People Management practise
* Be the ambassador and custodian for developing, delivering and maintaining processional standards across the company
* Understand the business needs and the people management issues and take steps to identify and implement initiatives
