Head of Diversity & Inclusion - Open to location within UK - Professional Services firm

A major UK law firm with a network of 10 offices working together as one national team are recruiting for a Head of D&I to be based within one of their UK offices. The ideal location would be Midlands based however for the right person this can be flexible as the firm offers full agile working.

The firm\'s diversity and inclusion mission aims to help attract and nurture a diverse group of staff and to create an environment and culture that is genuinely inclusive. Committed to making positive changes to help employees shine at each stage of their career.

The role -

To further the ambitions of Diversity and Inclusion and drive forward the HR Inclusion Imperative Strategy

Identify and promote new actions and activities that will further diversity, inclusion and wellbeing across the firm

Increase employee engagement in diversity, inclusion and wellbeing using resulting employee feedback

Identify and address barriers to inclusion with the firm\'s structures

Champion the needs of all minority groups and influence senior stakeholders in the benefits of a diverse business

Ensure accountability for diversity, inclusion and wellbeing at a senior level

Develop and implement the necessary internal policies and processes that meet the needs of staff in this area

Management of 1 direct report - Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing officer

You will need -

Insight into the dynamics of a partnership culture

Able to clearly demonstrate significant impact through previous inclusion or equivalent roles on business performance and business partnering relationships with senior management and the board

Strong analytical skills and strategic vision

Able to facilitate change and decisively but sensitively, understanding the partnership model

Strategic vision and the ability to synthesise the bigger picture from inclusion data

Excellent communication skills both written and oral

Developed leadership ability, particularly gained in an organisation or sector experiencing change
