Head of Diversity & Inclusion
Location: Newport/London with travel
Salary: up to £50,000 + car allowance + 3% flex fund + pension + life assurance

Our clients include a number of government agencies including the Department for Work and Pensions, Environment Agency Department for Education, Ministry of Justice and Home Office as well as the Metropolitan Police Service and the Construction Industry Training Board.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting the successful implementation of our client\'s strategic aims
  • Ensure that D&I activities align with business objectives and drives collective team performance and risk management at all levels
  • Drive awareness of D&I and its value and focus on joint initiatives acting as one team with key client stakeholders
  • Develop D&I applicant engagement initiatives and tools on behalf of our client, integrated within our end to end recruitment process
  • Lead on the development and implementation of key D&I projects within the clients recruitment processes
  • Engaging, advising, coaching and influencing key stakeholders to build capability to deliver the D&I objectives
  • Partner with key stakeholders internally on the design and delivery of any tailored D&I assessment activities
  • Evaluate and integrate concepts of D&I and bias into recruitment processes
  • Manage D&I benchmarking for client
  • Collate, analyse, and use diversity metrics to measure D&I applicant retention
  • Monitor and keep up to date with the latest developments in D&I research and thinking within the recruitment industry
    Awareness and understanding of the main risks facing our clients under D&I context

Skills & experience required:

  • Proven experience in D&I working in a large, national corporate business
  • Highly developed understanding of geographical and cultural differences and how it impacts the subject matter topics of the area
  • Excellent project management experience
  • Role requires credibility as an expert with senior stakeholders both internal and external
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Strong collaboration and consulting skills
