Description

12-month fixed term contract

Plan International UK is a global children\'s charity. We work to give every child the same chance in life.

Our Disaster Risk Management Unit supports our country offices to design and deliver quality programmes, assisting with the development of strong donor relationships, and providing technical support for humanitarian work. We are recruiting a Gender in Emergencies Adviser to support the development of high-quality gender and education programming in humanitarian settings.

In this role, you will provide gender technical support to the delivery of programmes, regularly reviewing proposals and providing input to ensure all new proposals are gender sensitive at a minimum. Due to the nature of our work with children, we follow rigorous child protection policies and procedures in our recruitment process.
