An exciting opportunity for an Equality, Diversity & Inclusion Manager to join a not for profit organisation.

Your new company
A large, not for profit organisation providing affordable social housing in the South of England.

Your new role
As ED&I Manager you will work in the Newbury office, 30 hours a week, to develop and implement strategy, leading from the front with policies and initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion across the organisation, engaging with both customer and employee. You\'ll also:

  • Help promote a culture that accepts all, and releases people to their full potential.
  • Assist in the people team, getting involved with key stakeholder relations
  • Ensure ED&I strategy delivery through advice and support
  • Work with resourcing team to attract talent from diverse backgrounds
  • Assist L&D team in design and delivery of inclusive training programs and coaching
  • Raise awareness of the importance of diversity though great communications
  • Work alongside Customer Service team, gaining customer insights and developing inclusive strategy to meet customer needs
  • Ensure services are accessible and fair for all
  • Help to support wider customer experience, assisting with work or training preparation.
  • Promote diversity and inclusion in everyday working routine at all levels
  • Support wider organisational values and aims, representing them in every interaction
  • Complying with policy, and reviewing procedure to ensure effectiveness
  • Establish and maintain excellent working relationships and open communication channels

What you\'ll need to succeed
You\'ll be confident in engaging with a range of stakeholders at various levels, working across the business to support ED&I objectives. You\'ll have a desire to influence culture and strategy, working with resourcing, communications and customer services teams, to ensure excellent, fair services to customers. You\'ll be strongly motivated by ED&I and passionate and proactive in raising awareness of responsibility, with a desire to bring your previous experience in promoting the ED&I message and implementing ED&I strategies to the table. You\'ll also play a big part in quarterly ED&II Forum events, planning the meetings and working on action plans for the future.

What you\'ll get in return
A full-time equivalent salary of up to £48,000 depending on experience, which will be pro rata to hours worked. You\'ll have the benefit of flexibility, with a 30 hour working week, and the chance to influence the culture of an organisation who make a lasting difference to the lives of people, by providing for a physical need.
