Currently working with a HE client who are looking for an experienced HR professional with a strong EDI background to lead on strategic and operational EDI policies and procedures across the HR function.
This candidate will work with the senior management team to support and develop the EDI people strategies with a key focus on developing staff through training and guidance. Applicants will need to be experienced and qualified in HR practices with previous experience working alongside leadership teams and proven EDI experience.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* To establish and reinforce an EDI oriented culture that emphasises the ethical and commercial value of EDI and challenges any form of discrimination, and establish institutional targets
* Working alongside the HR Business Partnering team to influence and support the promote EDI requirements in their areas.
* To produce reports for EDI Committee, EDI Operational Working Group and Council
* Work with the L&D BP's and the EDI Manager for students to continually review the delivery and content of EDI related guidelines and training.
* Work closely with relevant stakeholders to implement, lead and deliver the University's EDI Strategy and objectives in line with their vision.
Essential experience:
* CIPD qualification level 5 or 7
* Degree or equivalent level qualification
* Proven experience of strategic and operational HR management in a complex organisation
* Experience of writing and maintaining content for EDI intranet and internet sites
