Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with one of our Nottinghamshire based clients to support the recruitment of an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion manager to join their organisation. Reporting into the Head of HR and working towards the CEO's agenda for change and improvement the role will take a lead on all areas of Diversity and Inclusion for the business.

The role will build on the already established foundations to ensure EDI is a focus, priority and fully integrated to the business values, policies and processes. Working across the business the role will influence at all levels devising and developing strategy and making sure the D&I initiatives are at the heart of the business.

You will be responsible for delivering advice and guidance on D&I, developing policies, practice and implementation of plans as well as ensuring ideas are embedded and truly become a part of the business ensuring aims objective and inclusion results in success.

The role will involve:

- Driving and leading on all areas of D&I, taking responsibility for the agenda and initiatives
- Working with the D&I committee providing expert advice and development of action plans
- Keep up to date with developments in equality, diversity and inclusion including any changes to legislation and translate into sound working practices
- Work with the Recruitment, L&D and OD teams to deliver training into the business on D&I
- Produce management information relative to measuring improvements
- Be aware of external bodies both regionally and nationally to report on trends and best practice.

To be successful in this role:

- You should have a proven background in working in equality, diversity and inclusion, setting and leading an organisation's agenda
- Possibly from a HR or L&D/OD skillset
- Able to demonstrate a thorough understanding of relevant legislation, best practice in D&I
- Experience of communicating and delivering training initiatives
- Strong communication and inter-personal skills with the ability to influence at all levels
- Organised, flexible, attention to deal and conscientious
