The D&I and Talent Partner supports the Head of Leadership and Talent in developing, and partnering with the business to implement initiatives focusing on DLG's D&I and Talent agendas, and creating an inclusive workplace. Accountable for design & deployment of the DLG Diversity & Inclusion strategy to lead stronger representation, improved inclusion and make the right impact in society, the D&I and Talent Partner works with the broader Culture and People Partners team and the wider HR function.

What you'll be doing:

  • Develop a refreshed, evidence-based D&I strategy for DLG, based on current status and progress to

    date, external landscape and regulatory requirements. Embed and build the D&I strategy across the business working through ExCo, Enterprise Leaders

  • Network (ELN), people managers and employee networks.

  • Create KPIs for D&I & set clear targets to address under-representation and improve inclusion that

    are reported in the Culture dashboard and link to Reward.

  • Consult with Business & HR leaders to achieve diversity representation goals and establish strategies

    to accelerator progress and build upon our inclusive culture.

  • Maintain excellent understanding and ensure ongoing compliance with evolving regulatory D&I policy.

  • Collaborate with Internal and External Communications to build annual D&I

    communications plan - ensuring diversity strategy and interventions are well communicated

  • Own D&I external reporting and awards entries - writing government, regulatory and optional

    submissions (e.g. Charter commitments, external recognition opportunities).

  • Lead the relationship with our employee networks and support their effectiveness. Partner with our

    networks to evolve activities based on feedback and work with ExCo sponsor to run quarterly DNA Committee meetings.

  • Support evolving the leadership capability across the organisation to enable the culture missions; and help implement the Talent and Leadership strategy across the Group.

  • Co-design and co-deploy progressive initiatives and programmes within Talent and D&I plan, directly and in partnership with wider HR teams to ensure D&I is embedded across all parts of the employee lifecycle (working with the Learning Experience team, Performance, Recruitment, etc.) to foster an inclusive culture and ensure proper representation across the organization.

  • Understand the business and market needs, using data and insights to translate them into an executable and impactful D&I and Talent practices.

What you'll need:

  • Experience in D&I, Talent and Leadership methodologies, strategies and tools with successful implementation and results.

  • Evidence of leading the delivery of a D&I agenda across a business with means to measure behaviour change and business benefits.

  • Expert with in-depth, up to date knowledge of D&I and Talent policies.

  • Excellent understanding of regulatory landscape.

  • Strong quantitative data and analytical skills desired.

  • Be both strategic and execution oriented, i.e. paint a long-term picture; think holistically and lead implementation.

  • Ability to influence, consult and manage key stakeholders and diverse audiences to co-create and shape a compelling D&I and Talent agenda and interventions that works across departments and deliver business impact.
